Minimum Artwork Resolution and Colors
To ensure that your postcards print of the highest quality, your artwork resolution should be at least 300 dpi. This will guarantee a sharp image and crisp text instead
of a blurry, pixelated image. All files should be converted and sent to us in CMYK
mode and not RGB. RGB mode is for on screen viewing only and not recommended
for postcard printing or any other printing as colors will change, some more subtly
than others. All our postcard printing is done in four color process (CMYK).

Postcard Size and Bleed
The final size of your postcard is 4” x 6” (5.5” x 8.5” if choosing our larger format postcards). Your artwork however should be 4.25“ x 6.25”. This extra 0.25“ all around
is referred to as the “bleed”. "Bleed" is the term used to indicate the area that will be
cut off after your postcard has been printed and cut to the final size. It is mandatory
to create this 1/8“ bleed on all four sides of your postcard. Also, make sure your text
is at least 1/8“ within the 4” x 6” box to avoid the text from being cut off close to the “bleed” area or edges of your postcard.
